Word Generator

Word Generator is a great tool to review spelling words.

In this example, we will use a list of ten frequently misspelled words: making, although, raise, amateur, midnight, rough, terrible, continuous, politician, practice. 

Drag the Word Generator from the Gallery LAT Tools into the Whiteboarding area.  To enter words into the word list, click on the blue Reset button on the lower left corner of Word Generator,

Click in each box for word entry then type in your words.  Alternatively, drag words in which you typed (or wrote and used Handwriting Recognition) in Notebook software.  Here we typed in ten commonly misspelled words.  Enter blanks for words you do not use (word11…word15).

In the lower left corner, change the character from Frog to Box, using the popup menu.  Then click on the OK button.

Every time you click on the box, one of the review words floats out of the book.  Click on the inject arrow to inject the words into the Whiteboarding area.

Add simple directions to your page by clicking on the Text Tool (A), then clicking in the top center of the screen.  Type in the directions and change the text properties (we used 48 point, Arial font, center justified).  Resize and move the text box around as desired.

In the Gallery, go to the Essentials for Educators folder.  Click on the + in front of the folder, then click on the + in front of the Administration and Evaluation subfolder, and click on the Navigation buttons folder.  Pull the Next – Green button onto the page and resize it (click on the lower right corner and pull to the center of the button).

Finally, right click (use the Virtual Right Mouse Button on the Pen Tray) on each object (the red text, the Word Generator, and the green next arrow), and drag up to Locking->Lock In Place.
