Magnifier

There are two areas of the Magnifier; the “lens” window and the “viewing” window.  Above is the viewing window.  There is a resize handle (three diagonal lines) on the lower right side of the viewing window.  There is a gray handle area on top and a control area at the bottom.  Point to the top handle area to reposition the Magnify viewing area anywhere on the screen.

The Magnify “viewer” window is at the left, the “lens” frame is at the right, and the resize “cursor” is shown on the lower right corner of the viewer.  When you resize the viewer, the lens frame is proportionately resized.

The Magnify Tools are on the lower left corner of the Viewer:

A – Magnify Using Drag and Drop

B – Magnify Using the Pointer

C – Press Inside Magnifier

D – Show Magnification Lens

E – Spotlight

F – Magnification Level

In this example, the red Magnification Frame (D) is shown on the right side, with some file creation dates/times shown in the Viewer window.  The Magnify Using Drag and Drop (Hand) is also selected.

Using the “Magnify Using Drag and Drop” tool, you scroll around the screen, moving the hand around in the viewing window.

Using the “Magnify Using the Pointer” tool, you scroll outside of the viewing window, pointing to the content you wish to magnify.

Use the “Magnify Using the Spotlight” tool, to turn on the Spotlight, to further highlight the information you are magnifying.  Click on the Spotlight icon to turn the Spotlight on or off.  You can use the “Magnify Using Drag and Drop” (A), and “Magnify Using the Pointer” (B) in conjunction with both the “Show Magnification Lens” (D) and the “Spotlight” (E) tools.
