Magic Pen

The Magic Pen (R) can be used in three ways: to draw an oval to create a Spotlight, to draw a rectangle to magnify, or to create fading lettering.

To make a Spotlight, you do not even have to complete the oval.  The Magic Pen will complete the oval and turn it into a Spotlight. 

To go back to normal mode, touch the red close circle.

To enter Notebook 10’s new scalable Magnify mode, draw a rectangle with the Magic Pen.  Tap your finger in the magnified section and drag in to zoom in (magnify less), pull out to zoom out. 

In the Magnify mode, Notebook 10 puts a thin 3-D framework behind the image to reference the magnification amount.

When you write with the Magic Pen, after five seconds, the magic ink will start fading away.  Use the Properties tool or tab to modify the magic ink color and thickness.
