Locking
Locking allows you “some” protection from others modifying your work. Notebook’s open-source approach lets you look at other’s Notebook files and unlock locked items to modify them as you desire. When you click on an object and lock it, a padlock appears where the Object Menu triangle previously existed. You can Lock in Place to keep an object stationary, Allow Move to allow students to manipulate but not delete, and Allow Move and Rotate causes the green rotate handle to appear.
Remember, you can Select All Locked Notes from Edit command (page 69) to see where all locked objects are on any Notebook page. |
