Dice – Image
It is easy to make picture dice to reinforce graphic images or just have some fun. Drag the Dice-Image LAT Tool into Notebook software’s Whiteboarding area. Insert six fairly square JPEG images.
Open up the Dice-image (click on the chevrons on the upper left corner). Drag each image onto a die face. Click the No Repeat box if desired and then close the Dice-image tool. (Image source: http://www.bep.treas.gov)
To roll your die, click on it. You can resize the die by pulling its light blue resize handle, located on the lower right corner of the die.
Save your new die by dragging it into the My Content folder of the Gallery. You can share this die with others by clicking on the drop-down object menu (triangle) of the die you just created, and Export as Collection File.
You can easily email your export file to other teachers. They can save it to a folder on their computer and drag it into the “My Content” folder on their computer. Another interesting and fun use of this activity is to create dice with pictures of your students and using them to randomly choose students to call on. |
